Review of Scalecolor paints

Some time ago, due to a Kickstarter by Scale75, some friends at the Reaper Forums asked about these paints. Scalecolor, being a relative new product by the Spanish miniature company, known primarely for its large scale incredible figures, puts out a growing range of hobby paint, inks and pigments.

About a year ago I was in Toulouse, France, and as usual wandered into a hobby store. I was looking for some Vallejo paints to complement my rack, but this place had none. They were just starting the business, and in the process of stocking. So I took a look around, and immediately noticed these nice, colorful packages.

This great greens grabbed my eyes right away

I asked about them and clerk was kind enough to let me try the paints at his painting desk. I liked them, and left the store with four packs of 8 paints each. I was hooked.

Over the next couple trips I adquired most of the line that Scale75 kept putting out. I am missing the latest ones, inks and pigments, but have all the paints except the B&W set.

To show that this paints are just as great as other leading brands in the market, I made this videos. I tried to compare similar colors among ranges, Scalecolor with Vallejo Model Color and Reaper Master Series, so that my friends could see them side to side with more familiar paints.

So, hope you enjoy them, and find them useful!

First Post

This is the first post

I've thinking a lot about what to do as a first post. But truth is, I don't think nobody but me would actually see it. So let's get this out of the way.

This is the first post.

There!

Done!
